BIO
Joel Kvernmo went to Cornish College of the Arts on a whim and ended up with an art degree. He currently works for the Microsoft Corporation and has also made ends meet previously at film festivals, and with a hammer, a shovel, a computer, a camera, and his dashing good looks. He lives with his wife in Ballard, WA where they make letterpress goods for the masses.
Joel’s artwork frequently explore themes of self-awareness/unawareness and the artists “intrusion” into natural behavior. His mediums of choice are video, photography, and sculpture.
His work has been shown at galleries, museums, his living room, and his parents home-office.
